How-To Complete Registration Process & Create a Personal Itinery in ZoomEvents

If you were registered for the Digital Learning Symposium through your school, you will need to complete your registration in ZoomEvents to gain access to the DLSymp Event in ZoomEvents.

ZoomEvents is the hub for the conference for in-person and virtual attendees. We are not using Sched this year.

Complete Your Registration Process in ZoomEvents

  1. Use the email you received from BC Educators for Digital Learning to complete your registration process. The email subject line is: You are invited to register for Digital Learning Symposium 2024.

  1. In the body of the email, click “Register.

Trouble Shooting: If you receive this error message, click “Switch Account”

  1. Log into Zoom using the same email address through which you received your invitation to register. If necessary, create a Zoom account using this email address.

  1. Fill in the registration questionnaire in order to provide details regarding your dietary restrictions, name tag information, etc.

Create Your Personal Symposium Intinerary in ZoomEvents

  1. Go to the 2024 Digital Learning Symposium Event Site

  1. Click “Join Lobby”.

 

Trouble Shooting: If you aren’t signed into the correct Zoom Account, you will see a “Register” button.

  1. Go to “Sessions” in the Navigation Bar.

  1. Bookmark sessions to add them to your itinerary.

  1. Access your itinerary from the Navigation Bar.
