Join the #DLSymp24 Goose Chase: Complete missions, collect points, win prizes!

GooseChase is an online scavenger hunt played via the GooseChase app. There will be missions to complete which involve sharing photos or video as well as text-based answers. Top point-getters will win prizes at the DLSymp Plenary on Friday!

How to join the DLSymp Goose Chase Experience:

1. Download the Goosechase iOS or Android app.
2. Log in. New to Goosechase? Sign up for an account or play as a guest.
3. Search for the DLSymp Experience by code:
  • IN-PERSON: 5ZMK1M
  • VIRTUAL:  LP9LVV
4. Once you find the #DLSymp Experience, click Let's Go and then create your player profile.
6. Lastly, update your profile with a fun game name and photo and click Save. 

Watch for new missions to be added throughout the conference! 

How to complete Goose Chase missions:

  • Once you're logged into the #DLSymp24 Goose Chase experience, you will be able to view the various missions available to you to complete. Each mission will have instructions for how to complete it.
  • Some missions will be open in the weeks before the conference begins, but most will become available starting when the conference does.
  • Timed missions will be added throughout the conference, so keep checking the app for new ones.
  • Bonus points may be awarded for creativity and extra effort in mission completion. Fun is the name of the game...along with a little healthy competition to make things interesting! 
  • Make sure to set your app notifications to alert you when new missions are posted. 
  • Missions may be completed until Friday, April 26 @ 11:00 am PT.
